Competition
Georg Fischer is a worldwide business player operating in an environment of global competition. This applies primarily to the GF AgieCharmilles Corporate Group, to the industrial activities of GF Piping Systems and, increasingly, to GF Automotive too. By contrast, the business of two GF Piping Systems market segments – Utilities and Building Technology – is very local.

All three Corporate Groups of Georg Fischer are among the market and technology leaders in their segments and main markets. The markets and business areas are in some instances highly fragmented and undergoing consolidation. Below you can find a selection of the key providers operating in the business areas covered by GF.
